This release brings precision where it counts, filtering that behaves the way you think, stronger controls for how metrics work, new ways to take trusted metrics beyond the dashboard, and usage insights that keep everything tidy.
Need more control how numbers and times are displayed when building metrics? Choose Auto for four decimal places or set up to nine when you need extra detail. Add precision to duration metrics by selecting the minimum and maximum time units to show, so your charts read as seconds, minutes, hours, or days with intent. Turn on abbreviations for long values to keep labels and axes clean without losing meaning.
Find the signal across many metrics at once. Multi‑metric filtering lets you apply filters per metric in Explorer and on dashboards. Conditional filtering adds a friendly picker for by‑member or by‑condition rules. Improved filtering makes it easy to see and change what’s applied on metric homepages, in Explorer, and across dashboards, so you always know what you’re looking at.
Shape metrics before they hit the canvas. Enhanced configuration lets you pre‑filter the source data while you create or edit, and set how dimensions can be used. You can also choose which dimensions appear for calculated metrics and dbt Semantic Layer metric visualizations, which keeps comparisons fair and filters fast.
Take trusted metrics wherever you work. PowerMetrics Query Language (PMQL) lets you query metrics from external tools like enterprise business intelligence, data apps, orchestration platforms, notebooks, and analysis tools, with no heavy integration or plugins. Live embedding displays dynamic PowerMetrics visualizations on your website or inside a custom app, always current and in sync.
