Introducing Published Views: Seamless, Secure Sharing
Sharing the metrics that matter shouldn't be complicated. Published Views is a game-changer for internal and external communication. Easily create snapshot views of your metric dashboards that can be consumed anywhere—mobile, tablet, desktop, or even large office TVs. You choose the access level: share it publicly or secure it with a passcode. It’s the convenient, secure way to keep everyone on the same page.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)Security is paramount.
We’ve added Multi-Factor Authentication as a key component in keeping your PowerMetrics account—and your sensitive business data—secure. Enable MFA for an added layer of protection.
Quality-of-Life Dashboard and Data Clarity
We've polished the details to make your dashboards cleaner and your data insights immediate.
- Smarter Filters Tooltips: Clarity matters. When you hover over filters in Explorer, on metric homepages, dashboards, and published views, a detailed tooltip now displays, listing all the filter members applied. No more guessing what you're seeing!
- Data Comparison Clarity: When comparing data to a different period (like "Last Month"), you can now hover over the comparison value for a detailed tooltip. If you see an asterisk ($\text{*}$) after the value, it’s a quick visual reminder that the comparison period is incomplete.
- Precise Dashboard Layout: Building beautiful dashboards just got easier. We’ve added subtle guidance lines to help you arrange and align visualizations perfectly.
- Flexible Sorting: Organize and display your metric data exactly the way you want to see it! You can now sort data by x-axis, legend, rows, columns, and more—on dashboards, metric homepages, and in Explorer.
Faster Data Prep & More Connectors
Spend less time prepping and more time analyzing! We’ve boosted our data engine to make custom metrics quicker to build than ever.
- Intuitive Data Feed Editor: Creating robust data feeds is faster with significant improvements, including a more intuitive formula bar design and the ability to hide and display columns.
- Filtering in the Query Builder: Retrieving the precise data you need is now easier and faster. We’ve simplified the process to apply filters when retrieving data in the query builder for your data feeds and data sources.
- Custom Metrics for Airtable: Welcome a new member to our ever-growing list of supported services! Start tracking your Airtable data instantly with custom metrics, built by you using our powerful visual query builder.
- Metric List Clarity: To help you quickly navigate your data assets, you can now see the metric type (instant, custom, or calculated) directly under the metric name in your list of metrics.
Important Service Update (Twitter/X)
For your planning, please note the deprecation of the Twitter API. Twitter API Deprecation: Access to the Twitter API is being deprecated on April 29, 2023. For PowerMetrics users, your existing Twitter data is safely stored in history, even when it can no longer be refreshed. If you wish to keep a separate copy of your data, you can download your metric visualizations as CSV files.
